Rockstar Bingo has Two levels, our Free and Paid Subscription

Paid Subscription

Subscription is our premium offering and focus, for the serious host delivering the best possible experience. Our mission at Rockstar Bingo is to “empower great hosts” and pro is where it happens. All of the features a professional host will want can be found in this subscription including branding, customization and options for different types of games. Pro subscriptions start at a minimum of 20 players.

Pricing is per audience member, per month. So if your maximum intended audience size for an event/gathering/location is 80 players, you will want an 80 player plan. Higher volume licenses (100 and above) can see volume discounts. Paying for a license on an annual basis will also bring you a 20% discount*.

We do have a free subscription

The Free Subscription is for taking the platform out for a spin or for small family gatherings and campfires, up to a maximum of 5 players. We give you all of the functionality of a Pro license but cap the total players at 5, so you can get the full experience and set up your account, playlist, branding and settings without spending a dime!

Pro subscription Pricing (Price per player):

For a subscription the first 1 to 100 players is - $3.00 per player

For the next 101 to 150 players - $2.75 per player

For the next 151 to 200 players - $2.50 per player

How to use the Jumbotron

How to use the Jumbotron:

Log into your Rockstar Bingo Pro account and either create a custom playlist or press the Edit Playlist hyperlink in the custom music bingo playlist section. It is important that you create a custom playlist as this is the only area where you can add videos, the premade videos cannot be edited.
If creating a playlist, skip this step. If you are editing a playlist, choose the playlist that you want to add or change the videos for.
Click the Edit Details hyperlink in the upper left corner of the playlist, a popup will occur allowing you to make changes (see below).

For the default video select a video from YouTube that would cover the duration of your game as a default video, or choose a video that would play well on loop. This could be used for the duration of your game or as a back-up video in case you don’t select a singular video for one song.
Copy the video URL and paste into the ‘Default Video’ text box. This video will play all the time on your display unless you chose a video for a dedicated song.
If you want to have a certain video playing when a new song plays, first, find the video on YouTube, Vimeo, or other video hosting sites.
Then while editing the playlist click on the song you'd like to add a video to. Then paste the video URL in the box labeled Video (See Below.

Troubleshooting Spotify Connections

Do not ask for human assistance in chat before trying these steps or THIS STEP! We are going to make sure you did both beforehand, issues with Spotify are always rooted in a communication error from YOUR device to Spotify either due to poor signal or an error when connecting to the server, or Spotify's Server being down which we cannot control. Rockstar Bingo is only a passthrough to Spotify.

If you are having trouble connecting with Spotify, here are a few things to try:

Ensure Spotify is 'premium' (paid account, free versions don't work as they close off 3rd party connectivity)
If you open another browser tab, can you see your Spotify account (access it?) - just to confirm you can connect to it and it is the same one that you are logging in to with Rockstar Bingo (Trust us, this happens with shared computers a lot).
Always play a song to make sure everything is connected and working.

If all of the above are true, there might be a caching issue with your browser. We then recommend:

Log out of Rockstar Bingo (this will also close your Spotify connection)
Clear your browser history and close your browser
Go back to https://rockstar.bingo and login as a host (fresh) and then try to connect to Spotify again

How many songs do you need for music bingo?

A **minimum **of 75 songs is required per playlist. Each Rockstar Bingo game will draw 75 songs, and distribute them randomly to all players who join the game. We find 100 is the sweet spot for variety if you use the playlist more often.

Can I print Rockstar Bingo cards?

Great question! And the answer is no, sorry. We're very proud and committed to being the ultimate ‘Paperless Music Bingo Platform'. Not only is our platform easier to use, faster to start a game while also allowing to continue to roll out new features all the time and constantly improve game play … but our platform is also much more green and we are enormously proud and committed to that. Besides, handing out paper cards and daubers is time consuming, expensive and a vehicle for germs. Ew.
