How many players do I need to host a game?

The simple answer is none! You could have zero players in your lobby and have added none and still start a game with Rockstar Bingo. The minimum 20 players for your Pro account is for capacity only. You will not be able to admit more than that limit, but can have as little as one player to host a game (or none even).

If you have more players showing up than your account has room for, you can easily upgrade your capacity by going into your account settings and changing the number of players that can play. This can even be done when you are in game, so if you are hosting a game and want to increase, go into the game settings and down to account to upgrade your account. We recommend using a different device at the same time so you do not disrupt the flow of your game.

You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle (either the month or year). If in the future you need to downgrade the total of players on your account you will receive a prorated credit towards your next invoice (not a refund).
